What to expect
What if you could finally see yourself clearly?
Not the role.
Not the title.
Not the highlight reel.
Not what others have told you about yourself.
But the pattern you’ve been living inside.
The Two Types of People is a book about identity, ambition, contradiction, duality, and the quiet decisions that shape a life.
It’s not about success formulas.
It’s about awareness.
This book will help you:
• Recognize the hidden pattern driving your choices
• See the difference between those who build and those who drift
• Understand why ambition alone isn’t enough
• Identify the belief that’s been limiting your growth
• Reframe success beyond money, status, or applause
• Step into the version of yourself you already know exists
There are two types of people in this world…
Those top performers and high achievers we all admire? Each one is living in the tension between confidence and doubt, willpower and hesitation, sociability and solitude. They are tough and vulnerable, driven and exhausted, structured and spontaneous. They’re human beings, just like you. Which means you can be just like them.
Ready to unlock your hidden potential and turn your biggest challenges into your greatest triumphs? There are two types of people in this world–and you get to decide which one you’ll be.

Pat Sitkins
Bestselling Author, Agency CEO, Executive Producer
Pat Sitkins has spent his career building companies and studying the patterns behind high performers.
Since 2006, he has led and scaled marketing businesses, contributing to 13 successful exits across brands and ventures. He is the Founder & CEO of Adaptive Jax, a strategy-driven creative agency based in Jacksonville Beach, FL.
Pat is also monthly co-host of The Determined Society with Shawn French (a Top Ranked Podcast) and the creator of Two Types of People, a framework born from real-world observation, not theory.
Before business, Pat competed at the highest levels of sport. He was a Division I pitcher and part of two NCAA championship runs. He has completed multiple ultramarathons and an Ironman, experiences that reinforced what he believes about performance: discipline creates confidence, and cdetermination separates the elite from the average.
He’s been married for nearly twenty years, is a father of three, and is a Florida native who built his life and career by surrounding himself with people who push him to grow. He doesn’t just study high performers. He builds alongside them.
Two Types of People is the distillation of what he and the contributors have seen across boardrooms, locker rooms, finish lines, and living rooms: success is rarely about talent alone. It’s about pattern, mindset, and the choices made when no one is watching.

“The beauty of life is that we are a complex messy interplay of contradictions—sometimes confident, sometimes self-doubting, imbued with willpower, and at others struggling to commit to a pursuit or habit, extroverted, but sometimes needing our own space for energy and reconnection. This book dives deep into humanity at its core.”
